¿Qué medida necesito?Cómo medir tu ventana en 2 minutos
¿Dudas? Llámanos gratis al 900 878 679 o escríbenos por WhatsApp al 664 424 475.

What are translucent blinds?
It is very common for users to ask what translucent blinds are and what sets them apart from other options. These blinds are made from fabrics that allow light to pass through, but in a diffused way. This means they let in natural light, illuminating spaces without allowing a direct view from the outside.
This balance between brightness and privacy is what makes the translucent blind a versatile alternative. It adds visual warmth without creating glare and is perfect for areas where you want natural light without direct exposure, such as the living room, kitchen, or home office.
Compared to other systems, such as blackout blinds or screen blinds, translucent blinds are designed for people who value natural light but do not want to compromise their privacy.
When it comes to décor, many people ask: Are curtains or blinds more modern? Although traditional curtains have their place, translucent blinds have gained popularity in recent years thanks to their clean, elegant design. Unlike curtains, which require more space and maintenance, these offer a more minimalist, modern look. They are easy to install, and you can find a variety of colors and styles to suit all types of décor.
In addition, translucent blinds offer much more precise light control. You can choose how much light to filter without sacrificing privacy, while curtains are often heavier and less flexible when it comes to regulating light.
How to choose the right translucent blinds
Making the right choice starts with one key question: How do I know which translucent blind is best for my window? The answer lies in measuring correctly and considering how the space is used.
First, measure the width and height of the window, whether you plan to install the blinds inside or outside the frame. Adding a few extra centimetres on each side can help you achieve better coverage and prevent light from leaking in at the sides.
Next, choose the type of fabric. At 10XDIEZ, you will find translucent blinds in a variety of thicknesses, textures, and colors. If your space needs more natural light, opt for light, fine fabrics. If you want greater privacy or want to reduce heat, a denser fabric will be ideal.
What are the benefits of translucent blinds?
-
They filter light: ideal for work or reading areas where you need clarity without glare.
-
They provide privacy: even during the day, no one can see inside, although light still comes through.
-
They complement any style: from modern to classic, thanks to the variety of finishes available.
-
They require little maintenance: a dry cloth or feather duster is all you need to keep them clean. Some fabrics can even be washed.
If you live in a warm area, a translucent blind can help reduce the indoor temperature by blocking some of the sun's rays without completely darkening the room.
